Regional Sales Manager

Outpost24 is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead our team of UK based sales representatives!
As our Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales activities across the UK. You will provide leadership and technical support to our customers with the purpose of driving value, the development and execution of sales plans while expanding our business and delivering outstanding customer experience. You will work closely with Marketing and Service Delivery in order to ensure maximum customer value and ROI of investments.
The role reports to the SVP Sales Southwestern Europe and will work out of our London office.
Your main responsibilities can be divided up into the following areas:
Strategic Planning & Selling:
- Develop customer growth strategies and plans that align to both Management strategic goals and customer’s goals
- Identify new strategic opportunities
- Execute insight based selling to drive long term growth
- Effectively execute plans, monitor progress & course correct
- Use Data and Insights to drive the business and strategic plan
Customer Relationships:
- Build and strengthen relationships with key customers to foster trust
- Successfully develop, maintain and oversee customer relations interacting with customers, reviewing and discussing the business relationships and proactively managing key issues/problems
Financial Accountability:
- Plan and forecast sales in assigned territory.
- Achieve sales volume and contribution and goals
- Improve sales forecast accuracy
Leadership:
- Provide strong leadership, coaching and strategic direction to team in the assigned territory
- Develop the strength of the team
- As a leader, provide inspirational leadership to help foster and build a strong culture in line with O24 values
As you can see, the role is wide-encompassing and as such, other accountabilities and responsibilities may occur.
What would make you stand out as our ideal candidate?
Ideally, we would like to see someone who:
- Has +5 years’ sales experience working with new business development and retention (B2B experience)
- Has 2-3 years of experience in the security industry
- Holds a minimum a bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master degree within Economics, IT or Engineering
- Experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning
- Has a strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques including solid negotiation
- Demonstrates excellent teamwork and team building skills including conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Has knowledge of cost analysis and budgeting techniques
- Is willing to travel as needed to drive business results - Overnight travel might be required
- Has the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally
- Has experience closing complex sales and securing executive sponsorship with minimal management involvement highly desirable
- Is highly motivated, project-oriented self-starter with the ability to transform challenging business problems into tangible action plans
- Can explain a complex message in a simple and understandable way
- Is fluent in English as this is the corporate language
