AI Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Software Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative development team in Stockholm, Karlskrona, Barcelona or Leuven!
As an AI Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing our core AI services within the cyber security domain, refining and adapting models, and enabling teams across the company to integrate AI into their products and workflows. This role blends hands‑on engineering with applied AI problem‑solving.
You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, leveraging the power of Python and Golang to build high-performance applications with cutting-edge cloud technologies. You might not already be fluent in both Python and Golang, but if you have the right mindset and fit for us, we will support you in managing both languages!
As an AI Software Engineer your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop AI solutions in Python, with supporting services in Golang.
Design, build, and maintain production-grade AI services and APIs.
Provide AI expertise, guidance, and troubleshooting support across the organization.
Fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and LLM-based models.
Integrate AI capabilities into products and systems.
Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and best practices.
Contribute to coding standards, architecture, and engineering best practices.
Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of AI-powered systems.
Conduct code reviews and resolve software defects and performance issues.
What type of experience do we expect from our ideal candidate?
Must Have:
5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Python (or a similar language) commonly used for AI and machine learning development.
Good understanding of machine learning fundamentals; practical experience with modern AI frameworks is highly valued.
Hands-on experience working with LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or model fine-tuning.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and system design.
Experience building scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.
Proficiency with Git and modern version control practices.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative engineering environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.
As a person you have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Nice to Have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience designing, deploying, or operating cloud-native and highly available systems, ideally using technologies such as Kubernetes.
Experience with Amazon Bedrock or other AI platforms and providers such as Azure AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS AI Services, or Google Vertex AI.
Knowledge of or interest in cybersecurity and secure software development practices.
But what's in it for you?
In return for your efforts, we will offer you:
A flat organizational structure and lots of autonomy; you are not just a number. You will join an organization that offers a steep learning curve, where your contributions will have a tangible impact.
The opportunity to be part of a fast-growing and fun European cybersecurity company.
