Outpost24 is seeking a UX-focused Frontend Developer to join our dynamic and collaborative development team in Leuven!

In this role, you will focus on building intuitive, polished, and high-quality user interfaces that power our cyber security solutions.

You will work closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to bridge design and implementation, playing a key role in how our cyber security products are experienced by customers.

As a UX-Focused Frontend Developer your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Partner closely with UX designers and product managers to understand user needs, goals, and constraints.

· Translate UX concepts, wireframes, and design systems into clear, intuitive, and usable interfaces.

· Actively contribute to the UX design process by reviewing user flows, identifying usability issues, and proposing improvements to the overall product experience.

· Help evolve and maintain our design system and reusable UI components, ensuring consistency across products.

· Implement UX designs using Angular and modern frontend technologies.

· Build and maintain clean, well-structured, and maintainable frontend code.

· Ensure frontend performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.

· Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data interactions.

· Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high quality standards.

· Use AI-assisted development tools where helpful, while taking full ownership of the resulting code.

What type of experience do we expect from our ideal candidate?

· A strong interest in UX engineering, interaction design, or product design.

· Demonstrated ability to translate UX designs into high-quality interfaces.

· A sharp eye for visual design, usability, and interaction details.

· Experience working closely with UX designers.

· Experience implementing or contributing to design systems or UI component libraries.

· Solid understanding of accessibility and responsive design principles.

· 3+ years of experience in frontend development.

· Strong proficiency with Angular and modern frontend practices.

· Excellent CSS skills, including layout systems and modern styling approaches.

· Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.

· Familiarity with Git or version control workflows.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Interaction Design, or equivalent experience.

· Strong communication and collaboration abilities in English.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
