In this role you will help design, build and operate our new k8s based infrastructure.
Reporting directly into our Head of Global Platform Operations, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring its ongoing success.

As our new DevOps Engineer, you will be expected to:

• Setup and maintain k8s clusters, supporting applications and service dependencies.
• Continuously improve monitoring to highlight actual issues in complex dependency chains while tuning out noise and catching both long term trends and service degradation as well as high priority incidents.
• Assist our Development team's working with k8s and connected services.
• Be willing to learn from others, as well as share your knowledge and expertise.
• Identify and troubleshoot operational and performance issues.
• Work with other aspects of our operating environment.
• Incorporate our core values - Trust, Respect, Adaptability and Commitment - into your daily routines.

What would make you stand out as our ideal candidate?

• Proven experience in implementing and operating Kubernetes environments.
• Proven experience in running applications and services on Kubernetes.
• Expert Linux knowledge.
• Knowledge in security and PKI.
• Understanding of source control, automated builds and deployments.
• Understanding of GitOps.
• Scripting knowledge (bash/python).
• You are a team player but are able to work independently.
